A precious haven

The vineyard’s dominant varietal is Merlot (85%), Saint-Émilion’s most famous grape, which brings smoothness and silkiness. Smaller proportions of Cabernet Sauvignon (10%) and Cabernet Franc (5%), bring aromatic complexity and allow for excellent ageing potential. The heritage of our land is precious and we seek to preserve its balanced character. We cultivate the vineyard with attention and rigour, as if it were a garden. Production quantities are limited to 40hl per hectare, while planting density has been increased from 6000 to 9000 vines per hectare. Vines are regularly re-planted in order to maintain an average age of 35 years.
